Experience Studios is thrilled to announce our official sponsorship of the 5th annual short film contest at the 2012 Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival, August 11th - 16th in Ridgecrest, North Carolina.

Final Deadline for
submission is April 30th

Among this year's prizes: Cash awards, trophies, one-on-one meals with Gideon faculty members, and free tuition to the 2013 Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival.

Films must be between 5 and 30 minutes in length, including credits. Nominations will be announced on June 30th. A total of ten prize packages will be awarded at the Gideon Awards Banquet* on August 14th, 2012:
Best Picture, Best Comedy, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Production Design, and Best Original Score.

NEW THIS YEAR: All submitted films will be reviewed. Films that make it into the finals will be reviewed by industry professionals. These reviews will not only give you valuable feedback, but portions of these reviews can be quoted for your movie posters, DVD cases, and other promotional materials.

* In order to receive any award, a member of the cast or crew of your film must be registered for The 2012 Gideon Media Arts Contest
and Film Festival, August 11 - 16. (Registration for the entire conference is not required, but you or a representative must be registered
and attend the Awards Ceremony and Banquet which will take place August 14th at 6:00pm.) Registration deadline is July 15th.
